Ellen F. Feld
Award-winning writer Ellen F. Feld is the author of the popular Morgan Horse series (Willow Bend Publishing), which includes six novels for young adults and a short story for the early reader. All of her books have won at least one national award and two have received the prestigious Children's Choices award co-sponsored by The International Reading Association and The Children's Book Council. Mrs. Feld is also a nationally known equine journalist. She contributes to numerous horse magazines on a wide range of topics. Her articles have appeared in publications such as The Morgan Horse, Stable Management, Equestrian, Young Rider, Just About Horses, Horsemen's Yankee Pedlar, Tri-State Horse, and Appaloosa Journal. In 2009 Mrs. Feld served as a judge for the Young Voices Foundation Awards.
Amy Lignor
Amy is the author of a historical fiction novel entitled The Heart of a Legend, and Mind Made, a work of science fiction. Presently, Amy is writing an adventure series set in the New York Public Library, as well as a teen fiction series, The Angel Chronicles. An avid traveler, Amy considers herself fortunate to have journeyed across the USA, where she's met the most amazing people who truly bring life and soul to her stories. She currently lives in the Land of Enchantment with her gorgeous daughter, Shelby, her wonderful mom, Mary, and the greatest friend and critic in the entire world - her dog, Reuben.
Mary Lignor
Mary is a native of Connecticut's Litchfield Hills where it starts snowing in October and you might see lawn by April. She is a retired librarian and very into books as you might imagine. She started working at the town library and worked her way up to Director before leaving to move to New Mexico with her daughter Amy; granddaugter Shelby; and very large German Shepherd Reuben. After settling in the Land of Enchantment, she was joined by her enormous cat who is known as the Furry Critic.
Bill Alberts
Dr. Alberts has an eclectic background with experience in agriculture, botany, microbiology, and accounting. He has a particular passion for orchids. Dr. Alberts is a retired biology professor, and for many years, was the Dean of Science, Engineering, and Mathematics at a community college. He continues to lecture to numerous groups and exhibit his prize-winning orchids. He is an avid reader and prefers the genres of science, science fiction, and fantasy.
Holly Connors
Holly Connors is an industrial designer currently living in New York with her husband and daughter. She has a bachelor's degree in literature and always enjoys a good book. Her hobbies include horseback riding, running, reading, and walking her dog through trails in the woods of upstate New York.
Eloise Michael
Eloise Michael teaches creative writing at a one-room school in Western Massachusetts. When she is not teaching, she is homeschooling her own two children. She reads endlessly to her children and for herself, too, when she can, especially poetry. Her favorite poets are May Sarton, David Wagoner, Kay Ryan, and Mary Oliver. She has collected the poems of many other authors, as well. Eloise is always on the lookout for an inspiring poem she has not read yet.
Barbara Ardinger
Barbara Ardinger, Ph.D. (www.barbaraardinger.com), is a published author and freelance editor. To date, she has edited more than 200 books, most of them for authors going to small, vanity, or on-demand presses. Barbara lives in Southern California with her two rescued Maine coon cats, Heisenberg and Schroedinger. When she can get away from the computer, she goes to the theater as often as possible—she loves musical theater and movies in which people sing and dance. She is also an active CERT (Community Emergency Rescue Team) volunteer and a member (and occasional secretary pro-tem) of a neighborhood organization that focuses on code enforcement and safety for citizens. She has been an AIDS emotional support volunteer and a literacy volunteer. She is an active member of the neopagan community and is well known for the rituals she creates and leads.
Cory Bickel
Cory has a Ph.D. in Biology and minored in German and English literature as an undergrad. Her scientific research has been in the fields of plant molecular biology, stem cell biology, and blood clotting disorders. She enjoys traveling, and has spent time in Cologne, Germany studying the language and culture, and in Windhoek, Namibia, researching drought-resistant African plants. She lives in Pittsburgh, PA, with her cats, Spare Rib and Jangle, and likes hanging out with her new twin niece and nephew, whom she intends to turn into avid readers like herself. She enjoys fiction of every genre, as well as travel, memoirs, business, poetry, and spiritual books.
Karen Shaw Suriner
Karen Shaw Suriner started reading when she was four and hasn’t stopped since. A Smith College graduate, she has BAs in philosophy and English, and publishes articles online about philosophy, fashion, crafting, and home-based business. As co-owner of Stargazer Studios, Karen draws on twenty years of experience as a professional textile weaver to design and create unique accessories. She also serves as skillshare coordinator for Artisans of WMass and is a vocalist and songwriter whose projects include Route 9 Road Trip and Strange Brew. Karen lives in the mountains of western Massachusetts with her husband, cat, and fish.

Pamela is the founding member of the improv comedy troupe The Ha-Ha Sisterhood and the producer of Funny Fridays in Northampton, MA featuring ImprovBoston.

Betsy enjoys both fiction and non-fiction books within the Christian genre. When not reading, Betsy is kept busy with her teenage daughter, her horses and various other pets.

Michelle Hutchinson is a dentist, an educator, and an editor. As president of Wordhelper Professional Editing Services, she has worked with award-winning novelists, financial and educational institutions, wellness experts, and non-profit organizations. In addition to reading, her hobbies include indoor cycling, Zumba, and word games. She lives in the Atlanta area with her husband, their two children, and a dog.
Michael Feld
Mike is a recognized innovator in the field of telecommunications and IT services. Mike founded fc.com, Inc., a company specializing in the then-emerging field of remote network management for carriers and enterprises. Mike also served as the Chief Technology Officer of Connecticut Broadband, where he designed a statewide VOIP network. As the founder and President of Layer-Eight, Inc. Mike has provided telecommunications and IT consulting and engineering support for telecommunications carriers, large business and industry manufacturers. In his limited free time, Mike enjoys reading/reviewing books in the science fiction and christian genres.
