Do you know a young child who is feeling lost? Feeling unloved? Bullied at school or perhaps just suffering from low self-esteem? If so, you should consider giving this child a copy of A Simple Idea to Empower Kids. It just might lift him/her up and help heal those scars.
A Simple Idea to Empower Kids begins with a beautiful message: “Stop for a minute and listen. Do you hear that? It is your heart beating. It is filled with love. Love is the greatest force on Earth.” It’s hard to disagree with that statement! Kids, however, may never hear that message of love. Or they may have been told about the power of love, but like so many of us, have forgotten it as they struggle with day-to-day troubles. The very first page of this book brings that message back home.
Author Kathleen Boucher engages her young readers by asking them “Can you keep a secret?” Then, on the following pages, she shares three very important secrets (messages to remember, really). The first is that there is only one you and you are special! The young reader will see how being special and unique is indeed a great power that can do all sorts of wonderful things.
Through the secrets shared, the reader will realize that they can follow their dreams and get an idea of just how to do that. The author shares her three secrets and what they can do to change lives in a positive way, in essence by thinking positively, what some would describe as “The Laws of Attraction.” Using her three principles of Love, Choice, and Belief, presented within this book in a simple and attractive manner, kids can change their lives for the better. Add in bright and colorful illustrations and youngsters will love having this book read to them again and again, especially at bedtime as they cuddle up with their favorite grown-up to read. Indeed, this book is not just for children who are feeling lost, but for every child to remind them how special they are and that they have the power to follow their dreams.
Quill says: A very positive message to kids that YOU are special, shared in a simple and powerful way.
