Little Bunny Blue was wandering hither and thither trying to find his missing Granny. He had a very worried look on his face and very soon big crocodile tears began to flow. “BOO HOO HOO!” A duck saw his distress and asked what Granny looked like. Bunny Blue told him she had “twinkly eyes.” Even a little bumblebee flitting about had a concerned look on his face.
A tiger asked to describe Granny a bit more. Bunny Blue waved his arms about and said, “She’s got a BIG smile.” Twinkly eyes and a big smile weren’t going to be very much help in finding Granny so a crocodile asked him for another hint. Bunny began to cry again and talked about her “soft, furry arms.” Bear tried to help and fox had a clue, but everyone was going to have to search for Granny. Together would they be able to find her? “Granny! Where are you?”
Little lost Bunny Blue will charm his way into the hearts of the reader, young or old. Every now and then a little one feels very frightened if they get lost, even if it is simply around the corner in a supermarket out of the sight of their parent or, in this case Granny. I loved the whimsical drawings and poor little Bunny Blue was as cuddly a character as they come.
Quill says: This is one of those especially charming stories that every Granny is going to love to read to their little bunny!
