In this final (and, perhaps, best) installment in Melody Carlson's innovative On The Runway series, fans will have to say goodbye to Erin and Paige Forrester. From their first Premiere, when these wonderful sisters with Christian values first got into the high-fashion world, fans have come to love being a part of their star-studded days as they do their best to remain "good girls" with big hearts.
When the author left us in Glamour, (Book V), an error in judgment had caused a huge rift between Paige and her beau, Dylan Marceau. Now Paige is battling to save their engagement, and try her best to understand if Dylan is guilty or innocent before standing in front of God and swearing she'll love him forever.
Erin is as mixed-up as her sister. Not only does she have to constantly keep Paige 'up and running,' but she also has to deal with her own love, Bryce, as he lands himself his own reality series. Erin also spends her time caring for Fran, who is the director of her and her sister's reality show about fashion, who is suffering from cancer. Erin tries to help Fran through her chemotherapy, while arguing with Bryce about their relationship. He wants more - a true romance - while Erin doesn't quite seem to know what she wants. And by the time she decides to take their romance to the next level, Bryce is going to be on TV dating other girls in his new series. So much for that!
As this wonderful author ends On the Runway, she ties every plot twist up beautifully. As readers watch the image-conscious Paige grow up and take on the real-life issues that she must face, they also see Erin make decisions that will lead her into the next phase of her life. Hopefully this bestselling author is back at her typewriter creating yet another YA series that will offer fun, entertainment, and true lessons in life.
Quill Says: Rich in detail, this glamorous world of high-fashion is mixed with a solid story about true friendship - and the deep, unbendable bond of love and loyalty that exists between sisters.
